Data Citations with FRED

Abstract: FRED (Federal Reserve Economic Data) provides access to a wide range of time-series data from more than 100 sources. When using FRED to write reports or do statistical research, it is important to cite the source of the data you use: A complete data citation helps the reader find the data you use or reference. This article describes best data citation practices for new data users and serves as a reference for advanced data users.
