Oklahoma’s economy
Abstract: The pace of economic growth in Oklahoma has slowed slightly from a year ago. The Oklahoma City metro area continues to lead job growth in the state. Tulsa continues to lag the rest of the state and nation in job recovery, although considerable progress has been made since the depth of the recession. Employment in nonmetro areas is back to pre-recession levels, but with variation across the state.
