Maternity Leave and the Gender Wage Gap : An Analysis of New Jersey Family Leave Insurance

Abstract: Women, on average, are paid less than men. According to the 2015 report prepared by the Institute for Women's Policy Research (IWPR), female full-time workers in the United States received only 81 cents for every dollar earned by men; this difference amounts to a gender wage gap of 19 percent.
