Report
Health and prosperity. Health and community prosperity are intrinsically linked. SF Fed Community Development’s Ian Galloway sits down with President John Williams to discuss the issue
Abstract: In reflecting on community development trends for the 2015 annual report, What We've Learned?and why it matters, one of our biggest learnings is to advocate for health and community development organizations to share data with each other. Health often determines if an individual has a job or access to educational opportunities, making it a strong predictor of economic prosperity. A more holistic, collaborative approach to improving health?especially in areas with low-income households?can result in significantly better outcomes for individuals and for communities.
