Benefits and spillovers of greater competition in Europe: a macroeconomic assessment

Using a general-equilibrium simulation model featuring nominal rigidities and monopolistic competition in product and labor markets, this paper estimates the macroeconomic benefits and international spillovers of an increase in competition.
